decades ago, CTS’ proving ground was the New York City metropolitan
area. After years of working with New York landlords and then expanding
nationwide and internationally, CTS has encountered every imaginable
overcharge scenario.
CTS was founded in the mid 1980's by Steven Serota. After years
of working for a major property owner/management firm, Mr. Serota
observed serious overcharging in the escalation bills presented
to, and unknowingly paid by, major commercial tenants.
Mr. Serota started CTS with the sole purpose
of correcting that inequity, and recovering those overpayments.
The principals of CTS are highly respected specialists in property
management, real estate accounting, and building operations. They
are Ivy League MBAs, mechanical, and industrial engineers.
For nearly 20 years, CTS has examined thousands of leases and hundreds
of thousands of invoices identifying over $200 million in hidden
overcharges for clients in every conceivable industry.
